Early type K ration box. It was packed by the General Foods Corporation. The box has the painted laundry mark H-8663 on the back. It comes with a M-1926 steel spoon which has the same H-8663 stamped near the hole. Both items belonged to Leonard M. Hagel, ASN 36028663, who enlisted on April 23, 1941 and served with the Quartermaster Corps in the 5th Army. Perfect for display. K ration boxes have become exceedingly hard to find. Very good condition.
