This is the official 47th Infantry Regimental book, Raiders. It was printed right after the war. The hard cover still has its original dust jacket which is a rarity in itself as these are usually long gone. It is covered with (removable) plastic which kept the fragile dust jacket in decent shape. The book is filled with many photos, drawings and maps. It is the hard to find original version, not a reprint. Regimental books in particular are rare, in particular the Raiders book. A 'must have' for the WWII history buff or anyone with a specific interest for this unit. Very good condition.
