Utah Beach to Cherbourg, large size soft cover book about the assault on Utah Beach and the paratrooper actions inland. It was published by the Historical Division of the War Department in 1947. This is the hard to find original version, not a reprint. It is without a doubt the best documented book available. It contains 210 pages with many photos, maps and fold outs. A 'must have' for the WWII history buff or anyone with a specific interest in this battle. The book shows use and has been taped at the spine (priced accordingly) but overall it is in good shape. These books are becoming exceedingly difficult to find. Very good condition.
