The 29th Infantry Division and Fort George G. Meade. Medium size hardover booklet that contains 74 pages with photos. It was for GI's to send home. The booklet is not dated but was most likely printed in 1941 during the time when Major General Milton A. Reckord was in command. The 29th was mobilized at Fort Meade in 1941 and sailed to England in September 1942. Hard to find booklet that is excellent for display. Also see photo of monument at Fort Meade. Very good condition.
