The Fighting 36th book/ A pictorial history of the Texas division in combat. This is the official 36th Division book that was printed right after the war. This is the hard to find orginal version, not a reprint. It has a leatherette hardcover. The front cover separated from the spine on the inside (this may be glued back if desired) but the book is firm. The pages are not numbered but is a big book with many photos and maps and the full roster in the back. A 'must have' for the WWII history buff or anyone with a specific interest in this unit. The book is named on the front cover page. Likely this was a veteran of the 36th. Very good condition.
