New Testament, Psalms. 1942 Edition. With note of President Roosevelt on the first page. It contains 512 pages & 124 pages of Psalms. Private George J. Kahler, ASN 35568757, who enlisted on November 14, 1942 presented the Bible to his mother in June, 1943. Kahler served with the 86th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron of the 6th Armored Division. He was killed in April 18, 1945 in Germany. Kahler is buried at the Netherlands American Cemetery Margraten, Plot B, Row 9, Grave 20. Poignant relic with research potential. Very good condition.
