This is the official book on the 3rd Anniversary of the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 20th October 1945. It is the hard to find original version, not some reprint. The large size softcover book contains 60 pages with the history of the 508th since its conception, Honor Roll, photos and name rosters and of all units and more. The book was printed in Germany, most likely in 1945. The front cover has the iconic photo of a paratrooper boarding for Normandy. This book is a 'must have' for the WWII history buff or anyone with a specific interest in paratroopers or this unitView the many photos. Very good condition.
