Large size soft cover book about the battle for Rome by the 5th Army.  It was printed in Italy in 1944 and contains 44 pages with many photos and several multi color fold out maps. The edition of this book was limited and all units involved in the actions between May 11 - June 9 received some copies. This copy is numbered 3142. This book is the original version, not a reprint. It is a 'must have' for the WWII history buff or anyone with a specific interest in the 5th Army and the campaign in Italy. The edges of the cover are a bit tattered but the pages are still in good shape. The front cover has a tear but this has been taped and is hardly noticeable. View the many photos, also of the documents regarding the publishing of the book. These documents do not come with the book and are not for sale. Very good condition.
