Service shoes of turned leather. Size 6A so suitable for a small GI or female. Early production type with the reenforcing rivets below their laces. With full rubber soles and heels. The maker's mark can still be read with the date September 30, 1943. These are the type of boots that were typically worn during D Day and the campaign in the ETO. Complete with their cotton laces. Original US boots have become exceedingly difficult to find, especially the turned leather type. The boots seem hardly used, if at all. Perfect for display and looking great with leggings. Very good condition.
