Service shoes of turned leather

Service shoes of turned leather. With full rubber soles and heels. These are actually combat 'buckle' boots of which the cuffs have been cut off because they were beyond repair. The boots however are identical at less than half the price of original boots of turned leather. The size seems to be 8½ which was present in a cuff but hard to read. There are inlay soles in the shoes but these can probably be removed, if desired. They will look great with leggings (see photos, the leggings are not included). Boots of turned leather were typically worn during D Day and the campaign in the ETO. Originals have become exceedingly difficult to find and expensive. This pairs offers a good alternative at an affordable price. Very good condition.
