Three letters, written by PVT William R. Roberts Jr. ASN 34525342. Roberts enlisted on December 24, 1942 and served with D Company of the 319th Infantry Regiment, 80th Division (one letter dated 1944). It seems he was transferred to the 752nd Engineer Parts & Supply Company, a unit of the IX Engineer Command, at the end of the war (two letters from 1945). Roberts wrote these letters to his wife. Nice personal lot with research potential. Very good condition.
