Leather liner chinstrap. With green coated steel hardware. It has a 'straight edge' buckle with flat lever. It has not been used and does not even have a nick in the leather from the buckle! This is the early-war type of chinstrap that was commonly used on liners with steel A washers (Hawley, St. Clair & Inland etc.) The rivet of the buckle is United Carr marked. Perfect for display or to be put on a liner. Original liner chinstraps have become exceedingly hard to find, certainly this nice. Excellent condition.
