Of August 28, 1942 contract. Size 5 with uncommon zinc coated snap fasteners with six dimples in the reverse. The printing on the neckband is very small and oddly lacks the maker's name. Neckbands produced by the Sun Shoe Mfg. Co. are rare. This example comes from the M-1 Helmet.com collection stock. Very good condition.
