Of July 6, 1942 contract. Size 1 with steel Rauf Co Prov Mi marked snap fasteners. MS & SM Co. is a difficult maker to find. The neckband is in good used condition. It comes from the M-1 Helmet.com collection stock and is presented in the M-1 Helmet book (page 130 of the 2007 Limited Edition and page 138 of the 2010 Schiffer Edition). Very good condition.
