YANK magazine of July 2, 1944. The GI magazine by the men... for the men in the service. British Edition. With iconic cover photo of T/4 Joseph Gorenc of 3rd Bn. 506th PIR boarding for the jump in Normandy. Filled with great articles, photos, cartoons (Sad Sack!) and Pin-Up. This particular YANK magazine is one of the hardest hard to find. The magazine is not in the best shape and shows age (priced accordingly). Yet it will look awesome framed. Also see last photo with the original Signal Corps photo of Gorenc and Ike's Order of the Day (both do NOT come with the magazine). Fair condition.
