Wooden toy made by Wood Commodities Corp. Typical wartime item when toys were no longer made of steel, which was all preserved for the war industry. The jeep measures about 26 x 12 centimeters. It has some damage, repairs and small parts missing (the cardboard steering wheel, pintle hook and reserve wheel). The toy may do with some restauration or be left as is. Wood Commodities produced four military toys, a tank, landing barge, howitzer and this jeep. Because of their fragile nature these wooden toys are very hard to find today.
