Wooden toy made by Buddy L. Typical wartime item when toys were no longer made of steel, which was all preserved for the war industry. The 'Army Transport' measures about 35 x 12 centimeters and is quite heavy. It shows age and has been played with but is in good shape. It still has its original OD green paint and all its wheels with caps. This is a rarity as usually parts are missing. The only thing no longer present is the fabric cover of the back compartment. Buddy L produced several military vehicles, various trucks, a tank and a jeep. The heavy quality of Buddy L products is among the best of wartime wooden toys. Because of their fragile nature these wooden toys are very hard to find today. Awesome wartime collectible which is perfect for display. Very good condition.
