Wooden toy made by Buddy L. Typical wartime item when toys were no longer made of steel, which was all preserved for the war industry. The Army Tank measures about 30 x 15 centimeters, is sturdy built and quite heavy. It shows age and has been played with but is in good shape. It still has its original OD green paint and Buddy L transfers. All the wheels and rattle meganism are present. The turret however no longer moves when the tank is driven. This may be an easy fix. Buddy L produced several military vehicles, various trucks, a jeep and this tank. The heavy quality of Buddy L products is among the best of wartime wooden toys. Because of their fragile nature these wooden toys are very hard to find today. Awesome wartime collectible which is perfect for display. Very good condition.
