Wooden toy made by Wood Commodities Corp. Typical wartime item when toys were no longer made of steel, which was all preserved for the war industry. The cannon measures about 30 x 12 centimeters. Wood Commodities produced four military toys, a tank, landing barge, a jeep and this cannon. These were all made in green and red. Because of their fragile nature these wooden toys are very hard to find today and usually damaged. This example is in beautiful and all complete.
