Deck A of the two decks published by Esquire magazine in 1944. The deck is complete with its four suits and Joker and packaged in the special edition leatherette box. It is dated on the box and Joker. Single Varga Pin Up playing card decks are the hardest to find, especially those with the sexy Pin Up of 1944 in the leatherette box. Varga was the Nr 1 Pin Up artist of all GI's! These playing cards certainly found their way to GI's footlockers! Superb wartime display item. Very good condition.
