1st Division patch & signed letter

1st Division patch & signed letter Letter with patch sent to a patch collector in February 1946. The letter is signed by Major General Clift Andruss who served with the Big Red One throughout the war and became the Divisional commander in December 1944. Andrus led the Division from the Battle of the Bulge to its last combat action in Falkenau, Czechoslovakia. He became a Major General in 1945. The patch is an unused greenback in superb shape. Unique ensemble that is perfect for display. Very good condition.
