30th Division patch

30th Division patch. Used. Fully embroidered and very soft patch with a black back. Often mistaken for a British made patch but these were most likely made in Germany or Austria at the end of the war and are very similar to some 76th Division patches. Both units were in the same area at the end of the war and many GI's were transferred from the 76th to the 30th Division. It seems likely patches were needed and locally procured. They are often seen on Ike jackets. Very good condition.
