10-in-1 ration box sleeve Menu #5  Sleeves that were around 10-in-1 ration boxes are super hard to find. They were discarded, used or burnt up. The rarity is such that it warrants a place in a collection. Or it can be used to complete a box. This sleeve was recovered in Normandy. It is dated December 1944 and the markings are strong. It is complete  but the staples were taken out. See also wartime photo of complete 10-in-1 ration (with sleeve over the box) and cover photo of YANK magazine showing a GI making use of a sleeve. Good condition
