First half of 5 rations inner box and tray. Part of the 10-in-1 ration. The top was cut off. First half ration boxes are very hard to find because they were made of more fragile corrugated cardboard (and not fibre board as the second half boxes). These boxes had a waxed inner box and a cardboard tray. These are often missing. This waxed inner box was recovered in Normandy recently. Good condition.
