K ration, breakfast unit (empty box). Early type K ration box with waxed inner box. This is the rare type II, introduced in February 1943. It has suggestions for use on the front and contents and instructions for preparation on the back. It was packaged by Patten Food.Products. The glue on the long is no longer holding. he small flaps of one side are loose. Dated January 1944 on a small flap. Perfect for display. K ration boxes have become exceedingly hard to find. Very good condition.
