Campbell Soup crate. Wooden crate that contained 48 cans. On the side it says Cambell soap but the front panel has markings for C ration scans.
It may very well have been reused one way ar the other. The inside is clean. Nice is the fact it was opened at the bottom which makes it very attractive for display as it seems unopened from the top. This crate was found in Normandy recently. Good condition.
