K ration crate

K ration crate. Wooden K ration crate that contained 12 K ration set (36 boxes). It was produced by Beech-Nut packaging Co. and is dated November 1943 on the side.  The printings are still nice. A small chips of wood is missing from the a corner. This crate was found in Normandy recently. It is great for display. Also see additional photo of improvised stage made of ration crates. K ration crates have become increasingly difficult to find. Very good condition.
