K ration crate

K ration crate. Wooden K ration crate that contained 12 K ration set (36 boxes). The crate was packaged by General Foods Sales Company, Inc.  February 1944 dated. The inside is clean and it is great for display. Also see additional photo of improvised stage made of ration crates. K ration crates have become increasingly difficult to find. This crate was found in Grandcamp, Normandy recently. Grandcamp was liberated by the Rangers and 29th Division. Very good condition.
