K ration crate

K ration crate. Early type crate with large KS lettering that contained 12 K ration set (36 boxes). The printings are still nice and the inside is clean. A small strip of wood at the bottom has been replaced. K ration crates have become exceedingly difficult to find, especially the early ones. This crate was found in Normandy recently. It is great for display. Also see additional photo of improvised stage made of ration crates. Very good condition.
