This is a unique find, a 1943 dated box with P-38 can openers from The Washburn Company! You receive one P-38 can opener in its original unopened paper wrapper straight from the box. There is some corrosion on the steel opener and some minor rust on the wrapper. The opener is marked US ANDROCK. As found in 10-in-1 rations. Many GI's kept these on the chain of their dogtags. Note, the P-38 can opener on the opened wrapper is to show the actual contents. You received closed wrapper. Great display item and excellent for 'use in the field'. Also see wartime Signal Corps photo. Very good condition.
