A-2 flight jacket, size 42. Iconic leather jacket that was used by air crews (and anyone who could get one) throughout WWII. The tag under the collar is present. It is a Rough Wear Clothing Co. production. The jacket has a steel Talon zipper which works as it should although there is a break between two teeth on the righthand side. It doesn't hinder the zipper much. The wool knitted cuffs and waist band show wear and have some holes but are original to the jacket and not replaced as often the case. The leather is slightly stiff overall but this can probably be solved with some treatment, if desired. A name tag was removed from lefthand upper side.  A-2 leather flight jackets have become exceedingly difficult to find, especially with the original knitted parts. Very good condition.
