Tanker jacket
Tanker jacket. Second type wool lined winter combat jacket with slash pockets. The tag under the collar is no longer present but this seems to be a size Medium. The color of the cotton is very strong. The brass Conmar zipper is original to the jacket and works well. The jacket also has its original wool knitted collar, waistband and cuffs. There are some scattered moth holes mainly but the cuffs are quite nice without the usual wear. There never were any patches or grades sewn to the sleeves. The name Reel RE is written on lower end of the flap behind the zipper. Tanker jackets have become exceedingly hard to find, especially 100% original and without problems. This is perfect example for the collection or a mannequin. Very good condition.
