D-1 mechanics' jacket & B-2 cap. Shearling jacket of specification 94-3084 that was popular with groundcrews but also aircrews. Size Large. The jacket is of a February 1941 contract and was produced by The Paul Reed Co. It is the earlier type without front pockets. It has a Crown spring loaded zipper which is still functional and a white Army Air Force decal on the left upper sleeve. The jacket shows a lot of wear and has damage, holes and several repairs. It comes with a B-2 Winter Flying cap, size 6¾, of a 1943 contract. The cap is in poor shape but may be repairable. The Army Air Force decal and label and still nice. Iconic leather jacket and cap, priced to sell. Fair condition.
