M-1 Helmet McCord, swivel bail

McCord 'swivel bail' M-1 steel shell. The heatstamp is 865C. The helmet has its original 11 row weave OD3 chinstraps with less common black coated steel buckle with raised bar. and pointed double J hook. It has a layer of repaint and light dents on the top. There are several laundry marks on the long chinstrap. Above the short chinstrap are some faint red marks on the outside of the steel shell. Very good condition.
