Firestone high pressure plastic liner. It features black oxidised brass A washers. It has a thin layer of OD repaint through which the white NCO bar on the back can clearly be seen. It would likely be possible to remove the layer of repaint. The liner is complete with its headband which has been attached to the neckband suspension, a typical GI fashion. It comes with the remains of the chinstrap with brass roller buckle. A spring clip of the headband has rusted through the suspension on the side of the liner. Original NCO marked liners are among the hardest to find. Perfect to mate with a steel shell or to display as is. Very good condition.
