McCord 'fixed bail' M-1 steel shell. The heatstamp seems to be 208A (the 0 is very light). It has its original 11 row weave OD3 chinstraps with early type cast brass buckle. The steel shell shows minimal use with hardly any wear to the textured finish and most paint present on the rim. It has no stress cracks. Without a doubt one of the nicest examples of the earliest production currently available for sale. Excellent condition.
